Your happiness with your new furniture and decor is our top priority, which is why we stand behind every item we sell with our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. This means for every purchase you make through Modsy, you’ll have 30 days (from the day you receive your items) to get to know your new pieces and, if they don’t work out, return them for a full refund of the original merchandise value. You can also cancel any order you place through Modsy within 24 hours—no matter the brand—and receive a full refund. Made-to-order products? We offer a 24-hour grace period where you can make changes or cancel your order free of charge.

Returns

Modsy stands behind every brand we sell with our 30-day satisfaction guarantee policy. You can return eligible products within 30 days of the date of delivery for a refund, minus any shipping or restocking fees (details below). Modsy’s  30-day guarantee applies to every brand we sell, even if that brand offers a shorter return window. We also honor extended return timelines for any brand that offers them, like Crate&Barrel, CB2, and Joybird.

When making a return, you must return products in their original condition. We’ll provide the shipping label but not the return packaging, so we recommend you keep the original packaging until you’re sure the item is a keeper! There is a 15% restocking fee when returning rugs, and you’ll need to re-roll and return them in the original packaging.

The following products are not eligible for returns:

  • Mattresses
  • Made-to-order products, except those from Ravine Home, Joybird, and Interior Define (See the details on these brands below)
  • Products damaged through normal wear and tear
  • Monogrammed or personalized products
    Final sale and clearance products
  • Products that the freight company can’t deliver due to measurement issues we cannot accept returns for products that cannot pass the entry points in your home (doorways, stairwells, and elevators). Please review our delivery measuring guide to ensure that delivery drivers can successfully deliver large items into your home.

Cancellations

You can cancel any Modsy order within 24 hours without penalty. After that, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but a cancellation may not be possible if the product has already shipped. Once a product has shipped, you can no longer cancel the order—but you can return them, as outlined in our return policy.

Made-to-Order Products

When you purchase a piece of furniture that’s made-to-order, it means that the item is manufactured just for you. In other words, the product does not exist until you purchase it. Because of this, the cancellation, return, and order change policies for made-to-order products are a bit different than those for regularly stocked products. When you purchase a made-to-order product through Modsy, you’ll have 24 hours to make changes or cancel your order, free of charge. After 24 hours, cancellations and returns of made-to-order products are not possible, except as detailed below.

Exceptions to Specific Made-to Order Brands

Three brands in the Modsy catalog that sell exclusively made-to-order furniture—Ravine Home, Joybird, and Interior Define—have additional policies for returns, cancellations, and order changes.

Ravine Home

As a Modsy-exclusive brand, we’re proud to stand behind all Ravine Home products with a 60-day risk-free trial. That means, you have 60 days to get to know your new piece and, if it doesn’t work out, return it for a refund.

  • Changes after ordering: You can make changes to Ravine Home orders within 48 hours, free of charge. Our team may be able to honor changes requested after the 48 hour window if production of your item has not yet started. Any changes made after 48 hours will result in a 25% modification charge.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your Ravine Home order within 48 hours of purchase and receive a full refund. If you decide to cancel your order after 48 hours, you will still receive a full refund minus a 25% processing fee.
  • Returns: We’re passionate about reducing our impact on the environment and supporting our local communities. If you aren’t satisfied with your Ravine Home item within the 60-day trial window, you can get a refund by donating it to a 501c3 tax-exempt organization of your choice. Simply send us proof of your donation and we’ll issue you a refund to your original payment method for the purchase amount minus a 25% return processing fee.

Joybird

All Joybird products are made-to-order just for you, and Modsy honors all of Joybird’s policies on cancellations, returns, and exchanges.

  • Changes after ordering: Any changes made after you’ve placed your order will be treated like a cancellation.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your Joybird order within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. If you cancel your Joybird purchases after that 24-hour window (but before delivery), you’ll receive a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee.
  • Returns: We honor Joybird’s 90-day return policy on all products, excluding any products that are damaged, soiled, or excessively used. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method, minus shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee taken from the subtotal of your original order. (You can avoid the restocking fee on one Joybird item by exchanging it for another Joybird product within 90 days from the date of delivery. You will simply be charged or refunded any price difference in the exchanged product.)

Interior Define

All Interior Define products are made-to-order just for you, and Modsy honors all of Interior Define’s policies on modifications, cancellations, and returns.

  • Changes after ordering: You’ll have 72 hours after purchasing to make changes to your Interior Define order, free of charge. Any changes to orders made after the 72-hour window will result in a 25% modification charge.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your Interior Define order within 72 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 72 hours, up to the product shipping, you can still request a cancellation, and we will refund you in full, minus Interior Define’s 25% processing fee. Interior Define charges a 50% fee on cancellations made 30 days or more after purchase. If you cancel your order after the item has shipped, Interior Define will not issue a refund for the cost of shipping.
  • Returns: We honor Interior Define’s 60-day return policy, excluding any products that are soiled, excessively used, or damaged through normal wear and tear. Interior Define requires returned items to be picked up by their delivery partner within the 60-day window in order to qualify for a refund. A refund will then be credited back to your original payment method for the purchase amount minus a 50% processing fee. Returns picked up outside of the 60-day window will not qualify for a refund. Please note that Interior Define only accepts one return or exchange per order.
